We have exciting opportunities for eMR Application Specialists in the Clinical Application Services team. The eMR Application Specialists will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of ongoing application support and service improvements of the state-wide Cerner eMR application (PAS, FirstNet, SurgiNet or PowerChart), by applying application specific technical expertise and relevant clinical knowledge.
Computer Manager Grade 1, commencing salary from $113,645- $131,806 plus super and annual leave loading.

What you will do
As an integral member of the Clinical Application Services team, you will:
- Provide technical, configuration and associated application support, including coordinating and delivering the required support levels for complex and significant issues, problem resolution and change management in accordance with agreed service levels.
- Maintain and update technical configuration, business and application support documentations in line with agreed design principles, best practice and quality assurance processes.
- Utilise technical and clinical expertise in user requirements analysis, translate business requirements into design and configuration recommendations, engage and negotiate with stakeholders and provide leadership in the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Participate in the management and implement major application upgrades, including communicate specific enhancement requirements to relevant support teams/vendors, and co-ordinate user acceptance testing.
- Support the state-built functionality, work practices and workflows to maintain the functionality of application.
- Contribute to the development of business plans and processes aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the eMR application services team and support the implementation of strategy and processes.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- Demonstrated experience and a record of achievement in clinical information systems and the ability to understand and translate business requirements into ICT solutions within a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
- Awareness of eMR and clinical care processes and work practices within a large health care organisation/NSW Health.
- Demonstrated ability in analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
- Proven interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Proven capacity to contribute to and implement strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and work within an operational support business unit.
