About the Opportunity
As a Network Engineer of our Statewide Network Services – CNS team at eHealth NSW, you will help make a real difference in healthcare through configuring hardware, building and installing devices, and migrating services to HWAN network.
You will work alongside our team of engineers on critical projects, such as contributing to our HWAN projects, providing WAN connectivity to every public health facility in NSW, impacting the way we deliver patient care.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in internal and external customer meetings to refine and align service delivery.
- Support and deliver CNS automation capabilities as part of agile sprint cycles and product releases.
- Develop, maintain, and improve network infrastructure solutions through automation, configuration, and programming with tools such as: routing and switching, Ansible, Python, and Git.
- Collaborate and document network solutions, scripts, and procedures to support continuous knowledge across the team and business.
- Be proactive in resolutions, log analysis, custom scripting, and telemetry-based monitoring to identify opportunities to automate tasks.
This role is internally referred to as CNS DevNetOps Engineer.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is proactive in their approach to network solutions, process management, and delivery to customer requirements.
- Can develop, maintain, and improve network infrastructure through implementation of reusable network configurations and templates using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Git.
- Will contribute to the improvement of network infrastructure, change and event management processes, by incorporating automation improvements where possible.
- Can collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reliability, consistency, and speed of network changes.
- Has experience creating documentation for network solutions, automation scripts, and procedures to support continuous knowledge transfer across the team.
