HETI – the Health Education and Training Institute – provides training and education support to more than 110,000 clinical and non-clinical staff, managers and leaders across NSW Health.  Working with health partners, HETI designs contemporary and responsive health education and training to enable a world class workforce.

HETI’s work is diverse. It includes the development of eLearning modules delivered through My Health Learning on topics such as Violence Prevention and Refugee Health to Clinical Care of People who maybe be Suicidal. Workshops on managing health resources and people management to intensive programs designed to develop NSW Health’s future leaders. Junior medical officer internships to programs that support medical professionals in rural and remote NSW. Recently HETI embarked on an exciting new future adding higher education postgraduate courses in Mental Health to its offering.
