About the Role

Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. You will be based at the Naamuru Parent and Baby Unit.

  
The Administrative Officer will provide timely and accurate administrative service for members of the PMBC Parent and Baby unit under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and professional liaison direction from the SLHD MH Information Services Manager. The Administrative Officer role will be ward/unit based and will support the daily work activities of nursing, medical and allied health staff within the Parent and Baby Unit to ensure all service requirements and needs are met.

Ideal Candidate

  • Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in using an Electronic Medical Record (eMR) system.
