Registered Nurse - Perioperative

Selection criteria to be addressed:

1. Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
2. Minimum 12 months Post graduate Operating Theatre scrub scout experience in multiple specialties
3. Strong computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems including Powerchart, EMR and Surginet.
4. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of NSW health policy directives and Australian college of operating room nurses (ACORN) standards and their application to Peri-operative nursing practice.
5. Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSE CORE values.
6. Demonstrated high level of verbal and non-verbal communication skills including knowledge of Outlook, Word and Microsoft TEAMS.
7. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team within a busy acute unit.
