Registered Nurse - Nepean Hospital - Perm FT

1. Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
2. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in mental health nursing as a registered nurse (including completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse)
3. Demonstrated capacity to provide and effective recovery focused, trauma informed mental health nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive, to people accessing mental health services.
4. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
5. Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
6. Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
7. Demonstrated commitment to professional development
8. Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
