About this role:

Do you want a with variety in a high volume, short timeframes branch? You’ll be critical in ensuring that the branch works well from an administrative, HR and Finance perspective as well as processing Ministerial requests to help ensure we meet the Ministers’ expectations.

Where you'll be working:

This opportunity exists within our Executive and Ministerial Services (EMS) Branch who support the Minister for Health and Minister for Medical Research and the Minister for Mental Health. EMS also support the Health Executive by coordinating responses to matters arising from the community and providing timely advice to the Minister's offices, local health districts, pillars and other stakeholders on strategic issues within the NSW public health system.

The EMS branch is located in St Leonards, situated in close proximity to public transport.

What you'll be doing:

You’ll ensure the efficient flow of information between Health portfolio branches, local health districts and pillars and Executive and Ministerial Services. This includes registering new requests, processing signed correspondence and briefs and managing the branch mailbox. You will also develop education and information products to promote EMS support tools. The role also manages recruitment and finance processes for the branch and provides administrative support.
