What you'll be doing
- Provide senior clinical leadership within the Allied Health Palliative care service provision, including optimisation of patient care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff.
- Responsible for a clinical caseload of patients across the lifespan, with complex needs who are approaching or reaching the end of their life in the community or as an inpatient, across the FWLHD.
- Participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of occupational therapy services to palliative care patients across the FWLHD
- Work with the multidisciplinary palliative care team to develop key performance indicators for the service to guide quality improvement and/or research initiatives.
- Candidates of relevant experience at Level 2 year 3-4 with a plan to progress to Level 3 are also encouraged to apply.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Current registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board, AHPRA. Current class C NSW drivers licence or equivalent
- Evidence of advanced clinical skills and demonstrated experience in the provision of occupational therapy services for palliative care clients
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
- Demonstrated advanced reasoning skills and ability to prioritise, organise and manage autonomously across a complex range of clinical settings
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes with other staff
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff and students
