- Deliver specialised physiotherapy care to Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients at Westmead Hospital.
- Work autonomously, managing clinical caseloads while mentoring junior staff and students.
- Participate in continuing education, staying current with advancements in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects and multi-disciplinary initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
What you'll be doing
The role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialised physiotherapy care to Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients at Westmead Hospital. You will contribute to clinical care, education, and research while working in a collaborative environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
- Deliver expert physiotherapy for CF patients across inpatient, outpatient, and outreach services.
- Manage a clinical caseload, including supervision of staff and students.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy and CF care.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and multi-disciplinary projects.
- Collaborate with medical and allied health teams to enhance patient care.

Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA Physiotherapy registration and clinical experience in Respiratory physiotherapy
- High level of knowledge in Physiotherapy service delivery across the acute hospital and outpatient settings, particularly in CF patients.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, teamwork and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated experience in, commitment to and active participation in the clinical education of staff and students.
- Ability to provide high level clinical advice and education to guide and support others in providing service excellence for patients with CF, to enhance service delivery.
- Ability to initiate and participate in quality improvement initiatives, research and service evaluation processes.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning
