We are seeking a motivated and organised Drug & Alcohol Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive assessment, clinical intervention, referral, and education for clients and their families impacted by problematic or harmful substance use.
Working within a range of community and health centre settings across the Central Coast, you will deliver services aligned with the NSW Drug and Alcohol Psychosocial Interventions Professional Practice Guidelines and other relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct substance-specific assessments and develop tailored treatment plans

Provide evidence-based psychosocial interventions and clinical treatments

Offer education and support to clients, families, and carers

Facilitate referrals and coordinate care with other health and social services

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service planning and evaluation

About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or nursing.
- Current registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW).
- Understanding of the issues experienced by individuals affected by alcohol and other drugs
- Sound knowledge of harm minimisation and evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel to multiple service locations.
