About the job:
  • A Traineeship will allow you to gain a recognised qualification in Certificate IV in Project Management Practice with a recognised training organisation.
  • The traineeship will provide a range of learning opportunities that will provide you with the exploration of career opportunities and pathways in NSW Health.
  • This is perfect for someone who has left school and looking to gain a useful qualification in an administration-related field.
  • This role will includes working with a welcoming, supportive Aboriginal workforce and local Aboriginal network to ensure cultural safety and inclusion.
  • Daily tasks will include huddles and supporting the Aboriginal workforce unit achieve a range of projects and innovative practices along with connecting to any scheduled meetings to increase knowledge and network opportunities, maintaining records, data entry, and communicating information within and on behalf of the unit.
  • You would have protected time to complete your studies during your work hours as negotiated.



About you:

  • Identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
  • Recent school leaver who is looking for a project-related role.
  • Have completed Year 11
  • Motivated and excited to try something new.
  • Engaged or willing to complete a National accredited qualification – Certificate IV in Project Management Practice as part of a 24 month traineeship.
  • Enjoy communicating with a range of people.
  • Want to work in a unit that delves into many aspects of Aboriginal employment and strategy.
