About us:
This Drug and Alcohol Administration position is based at James Fletcher Hospital, located in the Thwaites building within the Hunter New England region. The role is an integral part of the larger Drug and Alcohol Team, which operates across the district. This team is dedicated to providing high-quality support and services to individuals dealing with substance use issues.
About the role:
The successful applicant will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering a welcoming and professional interface for those seeking assistance. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services (DACS) teams by assisting with the coordination of clinical care, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery. Responsibilities will include managing correspondence, scheduling and organising meetings, and providing comprehensive secretarial support to DACS managers.
About you:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate within a multidisciplinary team. Strong time management and organisational abilities are essential to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. They should demonstrate proficiency in using a range of software applications.
