Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated success in delivering high level support services to Executive staff and demonstrated experience in project management.
  2. Demonstrated experience in the development of written communication, including briefings, letters, and email for a wide and varied audience, using information from multiple sources.
  3. Demonstrated highly developed communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to interact with people at all levels.
  4. Demonstrated ability to show initiative and use sound judgment and work collaboratively and as part of a team as well as independently.
  5. Demonstrated ability to manage a high workload, prioritise tasks whilst under sustained pressure, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  6. Demonstrated ability in meeting preparation, organisation and minute taking as well as following up on actions arising to ensure that they are responded to in a timely fashion
  7. Proficient use of equipment and software to the level described in the position description.
  8. Demonstrated ability to demonstrate initiative in being self-directed to undertake tasks for the directorate and executive

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.​

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
