What you'll be doing
The Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit (MOCTU) at Westmead Hospital is seeking a Secretary to support its cancer research activities. This role ensures smooth administrative operations and direct support to the Clinical Trials Director.
In this role you will provide administrative support and you will also be:
- Providing high-level administrative and office support.
- Assisting with coordination of clinical trial documentation.
- Managing correspondence, scheduling, and filing systems.
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Contributing to efficient functioning of a leading research unit.
How to Apply
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience in an administration environment with demonstrated administrative/secretarial experience.
- Demonstrated intermediate computer skills including all aspects of MS Office, clinical databases and computer-based information systems.
- Ability to work independently and within a multi-skilled team with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills in a busy environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and within required Key Performance Indicators.
