What you'll be doing
As a Physiotherapist in the Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program (OACCP), you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to patients with hip and knee osteoarthritis. This program provides patients with an 8-week individualised care plan, education, and exercise sessions designed to delay or prevent surgery and improve quality of life.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to personalised multidisciplinary care plans
- Develop and lead physiotherapy group sessions, including hydrotherapy for low-mobility patients
- Provide professional advice to patients, carers and other clinicians in a collaborative clinic environment
- Actively participate in clinical improvement, service development and evidence-based practice initiatives

- Registration: registration under the applicable registration board
Selection Criteria:
- Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.
- Well-developed written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills as well as coaching and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work as an effective team member; able to manage time well, prioritise workload and able to work independently.
- Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating research projects and experience in participating in quality improvement projects.
- Demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues and conditions, problem solving, formulating new approaches and implementing comprehensive change programs and improvement strategies, including the ability to develop and monitor health outcomes.
- Relevant qualification in Physiotherapy and eligible for membership of relevant clinical board prior to commencing.
