Essential Requirements:
- Qualification: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing
- Registration: Eligibility for membership of relevant professional body &/or full registration (if applicable) with AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with people with mental illness and families/carers to achieve outcomes that meet consumers’ and families’/carers’ expectations and supports the individual’s desired recovery pathway.
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within contemporary models of mental health service provision, including the recovery paradigm.
- Experience working in an Assertive Community Treatment Team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery under this model.
- Sound working knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007).
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to use for work purposes.
