Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing

The Claims Revenue Officer is primarily responsible for

  • Providing efficient billing service and follow up support to the debt recovery claims lodged.
  • Provide support across the District for revenue related billing queries and follow ups.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Understanding of Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS), Revenue, private health insurance & other billing arrangements.
  2. Experience in utilising PowerBilling Revenue Collection (PBRC), Revenue Portal, i.PM (Patient Administration System), Microsoft Office applications, Content Management (HPECM) and Powerchart.
  3. Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, prioritise and manage multiple tasks, considering the impact on others to achieve outcomes.
  4. Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with people from a range of professional and social backgrounds.
  5. Demonstrated high level of analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure the integrity, reliability, accuracy of data and data systems.
  6. Capacity to work independently and as an effective team member with the ability to facilitate and support the team to achieve required outcomes.
  7. Demonstrated exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
