What you'll be doing
Join our expert pharmacy team at Westmead Hospital and play a vital role in delivering specialised clinical pharmacy services to our Neonatal Intensive and Special Care Units, ensuring safe and effective medication use for our most vulnerable patients.
- Deliver expert clinical pharmacy care in neonatal and critical care
- Lead safe, ethical, and cost-effective medication use practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient-centred care
- Contribute to antimicrobial stewardship and clinical governance
- Supervise staff and support ongoing professional development

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Pharmacy qualifications conferred by Tertiary Education Institutions e.g. Bachelor of Pharmacy. Must satisfy Grade 2 classification as per Health Employees Pharmacists (State) Award.
- Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills both written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in clinical pharmacy practice in neonatal services
- Demonstrated excellent therapeutic knowledge and ability to exercise a high level of initiative in the application of pharmaceutical principles to clinical practice.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to effect practice change
- Willing to work on weekends, on-call as per departmental rosters
