What you'll be doing
The Health Informatics Data Quality Officer ensures accurate data capture within the Patient Administration System and Electronic Health Record, supporting district initiatives to improve information quality and integrity.
In this role you will:
- Investigate and resolves duplicate patient registrations.
- Be the main contact for updates to key patient identifiers (e.g. name, DOB, address).
- Perform routine data quality checks and reports on findings.
- Collaborate with Health Information and Records Service team.
- Support hybrid record management in preparation for SDPR rollout.

Selection Criteria:
- Experience in an administrative or customer service position and/or knowledge and experience in health administrative functions.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise your workload so that you are able to meet deadlines.
- Proven attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors.
- Developed computer skills and/or experience with document imaging, patient administrations systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent customer service skills with sound oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a productive team member, contribute to a positive team culture and work across all WSLHD facilities as required.
- Demonstrated understanding of privacy and confidentiality principles and how they are applied in the hospital setting.
