About The Opportunity
The variety of reception duties makes this a varied and interesting position. This role requires a person to have good communication, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to making our clients feel welcome. You will be working within a multicultural team to support patients from around the world. Our patients include people from Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Myanmar, DRC, Sri Lanka, and more.

 
You will be part of our small passionate administration team, supporting the work of the NSW Refugee Health Service. You will be welcoming clients, booking interpreters, and scheduling appointments across multiple clinic locations in in Western and South Western Sydney.
 
This position works closely with our clinical and project teams and is perfect for someone who has a good eye for detail, an interest in developing their skills, is flexible, and likes helping people. There are opportunities for ongoing training at the NSW Refugee Health Service, and mentoring.
 
This is a full-time role requiring availability Monday through Friday during standard business hours. While some flexibility is offered, specific workdays are essential to meet business needs. Our office is based in the centre of Liverpool (not at the hospital).
 
 
What You'll Be Doing 
You will work as part of a small admin team to provide administrative and receptionist support for our dynamic multicultural service. You will be responsible for welcoming clients at our service’s front desk, and providing administrative support to our clinical teams. 

 
You will have good attention to detail, be a good communicator, and have an interest working with clients from across the world from a refugee-like background.

South Western Sydney is rapidly growing and is a great place for young people and families to build a life. We are close to public transport, a short drive to the beach and the natural wonders of the Blue Mountains and Royal National Park.
 
The area is growing exponentially with many major shopping centers, great entertainment venues and the development of Sydney’s new airport all located within minutes of new housing estates.
