About The Opportunity 
This is an exciting opportunity to join the SWSLHD Research Directorate as a senior administrative officer. This role is responsible for providing high level administrative support to the Ethics and Research Governance team, as well as the Human Research Ethics Committee. This role will provide you with the ability to make a positive contribution to the research culture of SWSLHD, which benefits the health outcomes of the people of South Western Sydney. This role works collaboratively with other teams within the Research Directorate and in SWSLHD more broadly, and there are ample opportunities for growth and career development.

Provide high level administrative support for the operation of the Research and Ethics Office.

  1. Exlplain how you are able to demonstrate high level administrative skills and previous clerical experience, including providing support tasks such as meeting scheduling, committee support, filing, database management, telephone call handling, workload management, organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

  2. Outline your knowledge and understanding of health and medical research in NSW and Australia, including knowledge of relevant policies and legislation.

  3. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
