Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Visiting Medical Officer in Respiratory Medicine to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital
We are looking for a Visiting Medical Officer in Respiratory Medicine ! The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Respiratory Medicine and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Respiratory Department and Hospital as required.
The position will include the organisation and delivery of patient care for acute respiratory infection, including but not limited to COVID-19, both in the acute and post-acute phases.
The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognised qualifications in Respiratory Medicine and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
