About the Role
Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
 
This will be an exciting opportunity to work in an acute, Tertiary facility providing best practice and advanced learning opportunities for clinical placement of Occupational Therapy students. The position provides support to the students, the supervising clinicians and liaises with University partners. The position also works within multi-disciplinary teams in a negotiated clinical caseload and is provided clinical support and supervision.
 
The purpose of this role is to provide specialist services and senior clinical leadership within Occupational Therapy.

Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor or post graduate degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy.
  • Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
