The Clinical Support Officer may provide Clinical Support Officer functions to more than one ward/unit.
The Clinical Support Officer will work closely with the existing Nursing administration staff, such as ward clerks. The role will complement existing roles, systems and processes.
Clinical Support Officer will provide timely and accurate administrative service for members of the unit under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and professional liaison direction from the SLHD MH Information Services Manager.
Ideal Candidate
- Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills including excellent spelling, good comprehension.
- Confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
