What you'll be doing
The support officer will liaise directly with the external partners of Planning and Redevelopment, to assist with coordination of project schedules, meetings, focus groups and consumer engagement strategies, stakeholder communications and liaison, project management tasks, progress reporting, data management and other tasks as required.
- Relevant qualifications, experience and/or training in project support or working in project teams
- Demonstrated experience working in a complex health environment dealing with management, clinicians and external stakeholders
- Ability to write reports, documents and correspondence including use of medical/health management terminology drafting complex correspondence for senior officers, accurately and clearly
- Excellent written and verbal communication with health professionals, administrative staff, managers and consumers
- Possess organisation skills required to set priorities, manage workflow, complete or follow up necessary tasks in their area of responsibility
- Demonstrated experience in utilising a wide range of IT programs, in particular Microsoft office standard package (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word), current IT systems within NSW Health and Project Management tools
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a team environment
- Hold a current drivers licence
