What you'll be doing
The Cardiac Concierge and Patient Support Officer seeks to provide excellent customer service and support for patients, families, staff, and visitors to the Heart Centre for Children, SCHN.
The Officer will be one that is patient focused and passionate about delivering a great patient and family experience every day.
Duties include greeting patients and families upon entry to the Heart Centre for Children, answering enquiries and referring to appropriate staff, coordinating appointments, gathering/entering/filing patient information, billing and general administration duties.
Experience within a customer experience environment is desirable, with health experience not essential.

  2. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  3. Initiative in improving processes and outcomes for patients/families
  4. Ability to remain calm under pressure, particularly during difficult circumstances.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work well within a team

  1. Please provide an example of how you have delivered effective administration support whilst working in a high-volume work environment 
  2. Describe a complex customer service issue that you resolved under pressure. How did you approach this issue, what steps did you take to address the customers’ needs and what was the outcome?
