Social Worker - Substance Use in Pregnancy

- Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers with evidence of extensive clinical experience in a hospital or health related field.
- Demonstrated advanced skills and knowledge in assessment, counselling and therapy interventions, case management, advocacy and care planning for substance users who are pregnant.
- Comprehensive understanding and demonstrated social work experience in the social and emotional needs of patients with D&A issues, including clinical response and management of, trauma, grief and loss issues, family violence and children at risk.
- Demonstrated experience in service development and quality improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and computer literacy.
- NSW Drivers Licence.
