- Current AHPRA registration for relevant discipline - Psychology, Occupational Therapist,
Registered Nurse; or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers; or a Bachelors or post graduate degree of health science or applied science in leisure, recreation or diversional therapy and eligibility for Diversional and Recreation Therapy Australia. Current NSW Driver's licence. - Demonstrated, comprehensive mental health assessment and crisis intervention experience. Demonstrated experience and skills in suicide risk assessment and management.
- An understanding of consumer needs who present with a first episode psychosis.
- Experience working in community mental health and a demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act.
- Extensive case management/care co-ordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team setting
- Proficient in working with data systems and computer skills, in particular knowledge of Microsoft Office Word software.
