We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-motivated Administration Officer to join our team. Where you’ll be working:
Hornsby/Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital

What you’ll be doing:
The Clinical Support Officer is a ward/unit based role to support the work activities of nurses, midwives, medical staff and allied health staff, providing timely and accurate administrative/transactional services for members of the health care team under the direction of the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager (N/MUM). The CSO works closely with existing administrative staff at the ward/unit level The role complements existing roles, systems and processes within the facility.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: 

  1. Demonstrated excellent clerical experience with recent experience with medical terminology.
  2. Demonstrated computer and data entry experience.
  3. Demonstrated experience and knowledge in change management.
  4. Demonstrated ability to promote and achieve customer focussed service delivery.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
  6. Demonstrated experience in organising and prioritising work load with minimal supervision in a challenging environment.
