Are you a skilled and passionate Vascular Surgeon looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive environment? Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) invites applications from experienced and dedicated professionals to join our team and deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to our community.
What you'll be doing
Provide and support training to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.

- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Vascular Surgeon and/or overseas trained specialist pathway
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Vascular Surgery at the role delineation of the service.
- Demonstrated endovascular skills, including current certification in Radiation Safety.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to provide teaching/mentoring of accredited Vascular Registrar.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
