Your Contribution
In this opportunity you will play a vital role in supporting patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient hospital environment.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with patient hygiene and comfort
  • Transporting patients to wards, theatres, and imaging via wheelchair or bed
  • Moving equipment and supplies between departments
  • Responding promptly to incidents or emergencies
  • Implementing proactive safety and Wardsperson practices

You will be part of a skilled and dedicate operations team prioritises the safety and wellbeing of patients, visitors, and staff members.

We are committed to setting you up for success in this role. You will be supported with all training and education needed to confidently step into the position. You will be paired with a dedicated training officer who will guide you through the initial learning phase, and you’ll have ongoing access to the Wardsperson Operations Team and Senior Wardsperson for help, advice, and encouragement whenever you need it.

We will also check in regularly through continuous assessments to support your development and ensure you're feeling confident and capable in your role.
