Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline and or demonstrated experience in the delivery of end of life care services in the admitted and or community environment, clinical ethics, governance, risk management and patient safety.
  2. Demonstrated experience of working in admitted and or community settings and knowledge of end of life options and person-centered care.
  3. Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results.
  4. Proven interpersonal, engagement, collaboration and negotiation skills with the capability to build, maintain and draw upon relationships with clinicians, customers and other internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Demonstrated IT skills, including electronic medical records, database management and analysis.
  6. Sound analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, prepare written reports, deliver oral presentations, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
  7. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' license and the ability to maintain with the ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.



Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases
This is a Category ‘A’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2023_022.  All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.

All NSW Health Category A workers are required to have received at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
