    1. Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
    2. Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and postgraduate experience and skills in the management of adult acquired swallowing and communication disorders in critical care, respiratory, cardiac, and voice clinical areas. 
    3. Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and postgraduate experience and skills in tracheostomy management, instrumental dysphagia assessment (VFSS and FEES) and nasendoscopy for voice.
    4. Demonstrated experience in providing clinical leadership, supervision and education for staff and/or students.
    5. Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
    6. Demonstrated experience in providing consultation and education to colleagues and external parties that adheres to EBP principles.
    7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective internal and external partnerships.
    8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team
    9. Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
