About the role:
This role will see you provide high quality clinical service to a wide array of patients, ranging from children through to adults. You will manage your own caseload, whilst also contributing positively to the wider multidisciplinary team.
Clinical supervision arrangements are available to support you, as well as access to the strong, well developed Northern Speech Pathology Network, which is further supported by a range of clinical working groups and continuing professional development activities.
You will actively case manage a range of clinical patient presentations and will have the unique opportunity to employ innovative strategies to support patient care, such as telehealth, outreach services, and peer support/shadowing. You will also supervise University students through our tertiary specialist clinic support.
This role will require you to work every Friday and every second Thursday.

You will receive comprehensive orientation from the other speech pathologist in the role and will work alongside our broader team of allied health professionals. We have weekly catch ups as well as case management meetings for clients of concern, allowing you to gain advice from other experts in their field!
About you:
We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced speech pathologist. You should be a solid clinician with great communication skills and the ability to show initiative.
Requirements:
- Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
