  1. Demonstrated experience and clinical knowledge in General Radiography and Ultrasound.
  2. Degree in Medical Radiation Science from a recognised University or qualification deemed by AHPRA Medical Radiation Practitioner Board to be equivalent is essential.
  3. Holds a recognised post graduate diploma in Medical Sonography.
  4. Holds a current and valid NSW EPA Radiation Licence and registration with ASAR.
  5. Registered and eligible to remain on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency’s (AHPRA) Medical Radiation Practice Board Registry.
  6. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with hospital staff, private referrers, patients and carers.
  7. Proven knowledge of a majority of current ultrasound examinations, ability to teach, supervise and evaluate performance.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
