Sonographer Level 3, Grade 3 - Temporary Maternity Leave Relief - Prince of Wales Hospital

Selection Criteria

1. Holder of Graduate Diploma of Medical Sonography or equivalent.
2. Hold current ASAR registration and accreditation.
3. Demonstrated extensive experience in Paediatric, musculo-skeletal, small part and general sonography.
4. Demonstrated use of effective communication skills, ability to provide a quality service to all levels of personnel and customers.
5. Demonstrate ability to train and teach trainee Sonographer/ Radiographer.
6. Demonstrate clinical reasoning skills in the performance of sonographic procedures.
7. Possession of registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency for Medical Radiation Practice Board Possession of registration as Medical Radiation Practitioner with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
8. Possess the appropriate E.P.A. I-14 radiation license to use irradiating equipment for medical diagnostic radiation
