What you'll be doing
This role leads procurement systems and processes for corporate and clinical projects within WSLHD, driving improvements in quality, safety, and efficiency.
In this role you will:
- Manage procurement for projects incl. contracts and rebate schemes.
- Lead optimisation of procurement categories.
- Drive investment/disinvestment opportunities.
- Enhance procurement quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Support strategic procurement initiatives across WSLHD.

Selection Criteria:
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to analyse and solve complex challenges / problems, including option appraisals.
- Experience in critical literature evaluation, change management, research and quality assurance activities.
- Good understanding of financial management and contract management.
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications or professional experience in management, business, commerce, accounting.
- Understanding of supply chain activities and how systems should support them, so as to be able to act as business owner of processes related to procurement project.
