Senior Radiation Therapist
Orange Health Service

About the role
This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated and growing team delivering world-class radiation therapy to communities in regional NSW. Based in Orange, this Level 4, Grade 1 position plays a key leadership role in bringing high-quality cancer care closer to home for patients across Western NSW.

The Western NSW Radiation Oncology Service operates across two sites—Orange and Dubbo—with modern facilities and advanced technologies. The service primarily uses VMAT treatment techniques and offers SRS, SABR, and advanced imaging capabilities. As a Senior Radiation Therapist, you’ll lead and coordinate your area of responsibility, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient treatment planning and delivery. You’ll supervise and support Radiation Therapists under your management, contribute to service development, and drive clinical excellence in a well-resourced, multidisciplinary environment.

You’ll also collaborate closely with teams across both sites to support a cohesive, innovative regional service model that ensures equitable care for rural and remote communities. Opportunities for ongoing training, professional development, and mentorship are supported at a local and district level, making this a great role for experienced professionals seeking both career progression and impact.

This full-time role operates Monday to Friday during standard clinical hours, with flexible working arrangements available. Enjoy the professional challenge and reward of regional practice, along with the relaxed lifestyle, strong community, and natural beauty of life in Orange.

As part of the NSW Health system, you’ll also have access to a range of benefits including salary packaging, Fitness Passport, ongoing education support, and career development pathways within a supportive and forward-thinking health district.
