Senior Physiotherapist, Integrated Respiratory Physiotherapy

1. Degree in Physiotherapy and current full National Physiotherapy Registration with AHPRA.
2. Demonstrated extensive clinical experience in the delivery of physiotherapy services, with a demonstrated advanced ability to analyse problems, set priorities and apply a range of options to support client goal setting and care plans. Substantial experience with adult clients who have chronic and complex respiratory health conditions and extensive knowledge of the acute and community services relevant to this group.
3. Demonstrated teaching skills and clinical supervision experience with staff (including general practitioners and practice nurses), clients, carers and students.
4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to create a holistic and integrated approach to service delivery including contributing to the development of complex care plans.
5. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, effective time management skills and ability to work effectively with a range of professionals in diverse environments eg emergency departments, acute care, community health and primary care settings.
6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and knowledge of, and experience with quality improvement and evidence based practice.
7. Demonstrated ability to provide advice to service managers on clinical service development, practice and design in response to demands and client stakeholder needs in relation to a Physiotherapy service.
8. Current NSW driver’s licence, including P1 or above, and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD.
