About the Opportunity 
Campbelltown and Camden Hospital is recruiting for a Level 3 Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist to complement and enhance the current Physiotherapy team. 

This position provides a fantastic opportunity to work within an established and high performing team at Campbelltown Hospital. Macarthur LGA’s are experiencing a rapid growth in population and Campbelltown Hospital has recently undergone redevelopment with a new purposed built Special Care Nursery, Paediatric ward and outpatient Allied Health paediatric clinical space.



What You'll be Doing
The Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist will be responsible for delivering expert clinical care to paediatric patients across special care nursery, paediatric wards, and outpatient clinics and services. This position will work closely within the multidisciplinary allied health, medicine and nursing teams and provide consultation on novel or complex physiotherapy presentations.

The position will support the development of clinical skill and competency within the physiotherapy and wider paediatric team. This position is responsible for the supervision, teaching and training of Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, AHAs and students.

  1. Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of a complex paediatric physiotherapy caseload.
  3. Demonstrated experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.
  4. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence based practice.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research and service development activities.
  6. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  8. Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
