Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist (Level 3)
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
To recognise ongoing service in this role, once the successful candidate has served a qualifying period, they will become entitled to a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (as taxable income).

- Provide evidence- based practice to the specific case load and their family members as appropriate.
- Utilise advanced practise skills to assess and implement interventions in complex cases.
- Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, attending relevant case conferences, family meetings and team meetings.
- Representing the department in relevant hospital, Area, State or Professional meetings.
- Assist in clinical orientation and supervision of Level 1-2 Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, Students and SBATs.
- Present to colleagues on a regular basis i.e. article reviews, current research, conference presentations, etc.
- Participate in clinical supervision with a relevant supervisor/mentor.

- Degree in Physiotherapy with registration via APRHA and ability to be registered via appropriate professional organisation.
- Demonstrated advanced Physiotherapy knowledge and skills in the Adult and/or Paediatric caseload areas which may include but not limited to Inpatient Acute Wards, Sub Acute Rehabilitation, Outpatients and Outreach Services.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise high workload demands and work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to provide staff and student supervision, clinical and service consultation.
