What you'll be doing
As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting leaders and staff across the Northern Sydney Local Health District. You'll provide expert advice on workforce strategy, industrial relations, performance management, and organisational change. Your work will help shape a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with public sector legislation and HR best practices.
You’ll:
- Partner with managers to build workforce capability aligned with business goals.
- Guide leaders through performance, talent, and change management processes.
- Advise on complex workforce matters including grievances, disputes, and industrial issues.
- Help ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and organisational policies.
- Promote and embody our CORE values – Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
- Coach and support leaders to proactively manage people challenges and foster a strong team culture.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, or working towards such and/or experience in Workforce/Human Resources management.
- Previous experience in generalist workforce/human resources functions including change management, industrial consultation, grievance and disciplinary management, change, job evaluation, recruitment and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the public sector, relevant employment and Industrial Relations, EEO, Child Protection, WHS Legislation and relevant State Awards.
