What you'll be doing
Drive innovation in healthcare through data. As a Senior Data Engineer at WSLHD, you'll shape modern data architecture, enhance analytics capabilities, and lead solutions that improve patient care, research, and operations. Key responsibilities will include to:
- Design, build & maintain secure, scalable data pipelines and models
- Lead Azure-based data warehousing and analytics projects
- Ensure data quality, accessibility & governance across systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver advanced analytics solutions
- Champion best practices in data engineering & system optimisation

Selection Criteria:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Mathematics or Data Science and/or relevant equivalent professional experience. Masters degree advantageous.
- What are the key steps involved in migrating a SQL Server VM data warehouse to a cloud native data intelligence platform. (AWS Snowflake/MS Fabric)
- Outline your experience in implementing data lake platforms and designing data models creating data pipelines.
