Senior Clinician getting on track in time-Queanbeyan
- Tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers. Registered Nurses must have successfully completed a relevant post-registration qualification in mental health or similar field and have at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of child and adolescent mental health service.
- Experience and skill in developing, implementing and evaluating programs, including clinical groups.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in family systems based intervention, including the ability to work with children and families presenting with complex mental health needs.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical guidance and support to the multidisciplinary team clinicians, medical staff and students, and demonstrated skills in the provision of education and training.
- Demonstrated skill and commitment in working collaboratively and systematically with many key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007), and relevant legislations that pertain to working with children.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with consumers, their families and carers and other stakeholders, and a demonstrated high level proficiency in computer literacy.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
