About the role

 

As a Level 3 Social Worker, you will provide high-level clinical social work services across both inpatient and community health settings. You’ll play a key role in managing complex cases, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to service development initiatives.

The temporary contract has the possibility of extending past the contract end date. 

You’ll be working within a vibrant multidisciplinary team including; Occupational Therapists Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, Women’s Health Clinicians, Aboriginal Health Workers, AMIHS Midwife, Sexual Assault Worker and Community Nursing (including palliative care services).

Services at the hospital include a 24-hour Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical Inpatient Unit, Maternity Unit, and a Chemotherapy/Infusion Clinic.

We are seeking a clinician who demonstrates advanced clinical knowledge and decision-making skills, capacity to lead and contribute to service improvement and quality initiatives, strong collaboration and communication skills within multidisciplinary teams and experience supporting and guiding early-career social workers and students
