The Haematology Clinical Trials Unit (HCTU) at RPA is seeking a dynamic and driven Clinical Trials Manager to lead our dedicated team in delivering world-class clinical trials that make a real difference to patients' lives. The Haematology Senior Clinical Trials Manager at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, in close liaison with the Head of Department (HoD), is responsible for the overall operation of the Clinical Trials Unit and in ensuring the Unit’s activities align with the strategic objectives of the organisation. The role is responsible to effectively and efficiently manage a dynamic regulatory compliant research and clinical service within the SLHD; oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of research projects to achieve high-quality research objectives within established timeframes and project plans.

Ideal Candidate
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated relevant equivalent professional experience in a clinical research environment.
  • Demonstrated management skills and experience to effectively drive clinical research and build strong working relationships with stakeholders in the public and private sectors.
  • Extensive experience managing clinical trials studies and thorough knowledge of clinical trial regulations, legislation and ICH-GCP Guidelines with strong problem solving, analytical and numeracy skills to develop, implement and monitor clinical trial budgets.
