What you'll be doing
The Clinical Research Centres provides advice, training and resources to support Investigators conducting clinical research including early phase and advanced therapeutics clinical trials.  
  
The Senior Clinical Research Study Coordinator at the Clinical Research Centre (CRC) will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of a fast-paced and dynamic portfolio of commercial and investigator-initiated clinical trials, in compliance with the relevant legal, ethical, regulatory, and clinical guidelines across SCHN and in Australia.
 
The Senior Clinical Research Study Coordinator will collaborate closely with Investigators and relevant industry stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of early phase/advanced therapeutics and other trials and coordinate trial activity for these patients.
  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience in Clinical Trials, or a combination of study and work experience.
  2. Experience working in Clinical Trials with demonstrated experience in the management of complex clinical trials including early phase and/or advanced therapeutic trials.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously across all aspects of a clinical trial whilst working within a team environment.
  4. Highly developed and effective written and verbal communication skills with interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team with demonstrated ability to work with sensitive and complex issues.
  5. Meticulous attention to detail and experience in identifying discrepancies and risk management
  6. Strong project management and financial management skills in clinical trials including proficiency in the use of various clinical trials management software including a Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS), REDCAP, databases and electronic CRFs.
  7. Demonstrated evidence of contribution to own and team professional development, and ability to act as a resource person and mentor other team members in all aspects of clinical trial activity.
  8. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work in accordance with key underpinning frameworks and principles in clinical trials, including GCP and the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework.
