About the role:

We are seeking a professional Security Officer to join our team in providing 24-hour security - ensuring the safety and protection of staff, patients, visitors and government high value assets.

Key responsibilities include attending alarms and code blacks, conducting regular rounds across our 89-hectare campus, and engaging proactively with staff, visitors, and patients. You will be equipped with necessary resources such as uniforms, radios and a body camera during your shifts, facilitating seamless communication and operational effectiveness, whilst ensuring your own personal safety.

About you:

We are looking for a security officer who is ultra-reliable, very professional, and physically fit. You will be supported with ongoing operational training and will be assessed regularly against local and district guidelines and policies. You will be assigned to a senior officer during your training phase and will be given opportunities to progress your career through a number of different pathways.

Requirements:

  • Current NSW Security Licence 1A including Senior First Aid Certificate with a Certificate II in Security Operations.
  • Current Drivers licence Class C (NSW eligibility)
  • Ability to work a 24/7 roster
