Be Part of a Once-in-a-Lifetime Transformation in Paediatric Pharmacy!
Sydney Children’s Hospital Network is undergoing a once in a lifetime redevelopment, and we are looking for pharmacy assistants to join us.
Our pharmacy departments deliver inpatient clinical, operational, HITH, ambulatory and outpatient pharmacy services to the hospital. We care for patients as part of the multi-disciplinary team under medical teams such as oncology/haematology, neurology, renal, gastroenterology, intensive care, mental health, emergency and surgical. To support career progression from undergraduate through to leadership positions we run undergraduate, intern, residency and registrar training programs. We support pharmacy technicians through their Cert III and IV training. Quality improvement and research are embedded in practice, and we train our staff to be skilled educators.
The new Pharmacy Departments will feature automation in patient care areas to streamline inventory management and a central pharmacy equipped with a robotic dispensing system. The pharmacy has aseptic, cytotoxic, and gene therapy suites, along with specialised non-sterile compounding facilities to support tailored formulations.
