This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.

This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What you'll be doing
  • Ensure all aspects of Operational Commissioning and Change Management activities are planned and implemented to ensure an efficient and timely transition into new facilities being developed in the FWLHD.
  • The position requires an ability to plan and coordinate simultaneous change and commissioning activities across multiple, large-scale redevelopment projects and deliver optimum outcomes within specific timeframes.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in leading operational readiness, transition and commissioning activities for a large health organisation.
  2. High level analytical and evaluation skills, including the ability to identify and recommend a suitable course of action.
  3. Well-developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including extensive experience in the preparation and coordination of briefing note, reports and recommendations.
  4. Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Demonstrated ability to identify, manage, monitor and mitigate risks related to operational readiness, transition and commissioning activities.
  6. Demonstrated ability to set priorities, achieve objectives and deliver quality results on a range of complex projects whilst working to tight deadlines.
